Gay & Lesbian Association's upcoming 25th Anniversary
Party:
DATE: Saturday evening,
April 19, 2008.
TIME: 7:00 PM-12:00 AM
LOCATION: Embassy Suites
Hotel,
SUGGESTED ATTIRE: Black tie (optional) for the gentlemen
or a suit /coat and tie. Formal or semi formal dresses (optional) or pants
suits, skirts, etc., for the ladies. 2nd Option:
Creative black tie or creative formal or semi-formal
(think FORMAL & FUN).
BAR
SERVICE: There will be a cash bar offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic
beverages throughout the evening.
MENU: As we gather for
cocktails at 7:00 PM in the hotel's verdant garden
atrium, uniformed waiters will pass the following hors
d'oeuvres:
Miniature Maryland Crabcakes
served with an Old Bay aioli dipping Sauce
Baked Phyllo Pastry Triangles
stuffed
with feta cheese and spinach
Grilled Beef Tenderloin Crostini
lightly drizzled with a spicy red pepper cream
sauce
At
approximately 7:45 PM we will adjourn to the ballroom
where the talented chef of the Embassy Suites and his
staff will prepare and serve the following menu:
FIRST COURSE
Spinach Salad Composee'
Accompanied
by a round of garlic and herbed chevre cheese;
served with a zesty balsamic vinaigrette on the side
SECOND COURSE
(Choice of one of the following entrees should
be made when purchasing your ticket. The chef
is happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, or other
special menu requests with advance notice.)
Slow Roasted Roulade of Chicken
Stuffed
with a flavorful blend of sautéed spinach, Boursin cheese,
and a medley of colorful seasonal vegetables
Grilled Filet of Pacific Northwest Salmon
Brushed
with an Asian-inspired peach and ginger glaze;
served with Rice Pilaf and a medley of
colorful seasonal vegetables
Entrees will be accompanied by freshly baked dinner
rolls
and whipped butter
THIRD COURSE
Classic Crème Brulee
lightly graced with a drizzle of raspberry coulis
BEVERAGES
Dinner will include iced tea and coffee; cash
bar available
throughout the evening.
